high school. she say she was hit and killed by a burling ton northern freight train last night about 5:00 p.m . police are investigating but they say jenna and her boyfriend were sitting on the tracks they heard the train coming and jumped out of the way. jenna went back to retrieve a cell phone she'd dropped. >> this is a tragedy of unspeakable pro portions for us we've never had anything like this before. >> the driver of a black corvette is not expected to be charged in the death of an elderly pedestrian seasoned responders were affected by the fatality >> this is a really horrific incident the body was badly injured. and pronounced dead on the

scene, immediately. >> i've lived here 28 years and crossed the streetment times and almost ghoit, too. a 73-year-old woman was hit and killed in the same crosswalk. washington boulevard reopened around noon. >> less than a mile away another serious accident left a 4-year-old girl fighting for her live. police say both drivers had been drinking. it happened when a 33-year-old fremont woman was driving home on osgood road the 4-year-old girl was not secured in her seat and now in critical condition. >> investigators looking into a deadly single engine plane crash that happened about six miles southeast of the truckee tahoe airport. investigators say a man and woman were on board. one did survive.

let's go live to live doppler seven hd. you can see moisture beginning to blanket the north bay. it's moving along the coastline, sliding up from the southwest. we're going to get a decent dose of rainfall in just a few minutes. rainfall totals last 24 hours really light. most locations have received, those that have received rain only a trace amount. a part of the inch in mount st. helena. looking live from emeryville, you can see low clouds and rain on the way. 61 degrees in san francisco. oakland, redwood city. san jose, los gatos. 55 in half moon bay. mount tam, it's wet and rainy now. temperatures ranging from mid to upper 50s in santa rosa and fairfield. 64 in concord and livermore. looking at dry conditions at sfo, you can expect periods of rain during evening hours,

this is going to take a while. >> these are the crews working on this big hole left behind by the ruptured water main. this is what it looked like after the pipe burst. i'm told it was attached to the pipe that failed. which led to a leak and a geyser. it's a main line with water running through it. >> it's like a freeway. so they're able to shut off
